"Man" Artist’s Model, Articulated Wooden
Mannequin Famous Renaissance painters and sculptors worked in their studios alongside students, apprentices and established artists. The walls of these studios were lined with plaster casts of classical sculptures: casts of busts, hands, feet, legs, arms and torsos. Articulated wooden models of the human body and horses were in great demand and used on a daily basis.
