sundial. This reproduction is based on an 18th-century piece (between 1772 and 1821), probably made in Nuremberg and attributed to David Beringer.

The instrument is polyhedral in shape and decorated on each of its faces with wallpaper motifs. It features five hour dials, with time scales corresponding to its orientation.
