leaf. Jérôme DOUILLET was born near Grenoble in 1946. Following his studies in literature, eight years in the audiovisual sector in Paris, research films funded by the Clough Foundation – USA – and extensive travels, he taught himself the craft of metalwork, working alone, and with the guidance of a few ‘masters’ he set up his workshop in the Ardèche in 1977; in 1990 he moved to Lorraine, to the forest near Domremy.”
