After studying literature, spending eight years in the audiovisual sector in Paris, and working on research films funded by the Clough Foundation – USA – and extensive travels, he began to learn the craft of metalwork, working alone, and with the guidance of a few ‘masters’ he set up his workshop in the Ardèche in 1977; in 1990 he settled in Lorraine, in the forest near Domremy
