Car miniature 19" Bantam Midget

Car miniature 19" Bantam Midget red

The 1930s saw the climax of the cars hand-built. Known as the spindizzy, or car flyers. Cars built by hobbyists who were gathered around the tracks in the wood at a speed of nearly 240 kilometers per hour. Like in real racing cars of the time, several spindizzy competed against each other, attached by cables to a central post. Equipped real airplane engines reduced model, the spindizzy were running against the clock. Incredibly detailed and aerodynamic, these cars were beyond the toy. They were pieces of art representative of the best pioneering technology of the time. Built using the original plans of our model Midget Bantam, our spindizzy resembles the original down to the smallest detail. One look and you'll be ready to join the competition.
